Excellence Award

Well done to Ryan's Centra Cappawhite who were winners of the Excellence Ireland Supreme National Hygiene Award - Q Mark. A prestigious nod to their continuous commitment to upholding exemplary standards of store hygiene and cleanliness. Congrats to Shane and Breda and all the staff on the award and best wishes in the future. Why not drop in there and have a cappuccino and watch the world go by!!


Sympathy

To the family of Tom Taylor Bourke, Greenfields, who died last week and who was reposing at his sister’s Annie’s residence, Scarrough, Anacarty on Sunday evening and was interred in Cappawhite cemetery on Monday last. Tom is regretted by his sisters Nora Costello, The Cresent, Cappa and Teresa O’Grady Westport, his extended family and friends.


Congrats to Mattie & Carmel

On the occasion of their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Mattie & Carmel Browne went across to friends in England and celebrated there after they celebrated with family in a local hotel. Health and more happy years together.

Tidy Towns

Will be out and about for the Summer Months, sweeping, cleaning, weeding, painting, planting flowers and shrubs. All volunteers welcome Tuesday's 7.30pm or do a little bit on your own time.


Pope’s Visit

Part time Bus Driver

Part time Bus Driver required for Cappawhite Daycare Centre. Job description available from Mary , Daycare Supervisor at 062 75071 Ext 2 on Tue, Wed, Thurs from 10am-4pm. A letter of application with relevant experience should be posted to The Secretary, Community Council, Resource Centre, Cappawhite, Co Tipperary or alternatively emailed to secretary@cappawhite.ie by 5pm Friday 24th August .

Dinners

Why Bother Cooking a Dinner ? (Buying the Food, Preparing and cooking it, Setting and clearing the table, Washing up and putting away the dishes). If you would like to take a break and join us any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 1.00 p.m. for a 4 course meal costing €8, all you have to do is ring Mary at 062 75071 (Ext 2) before 10.00 a.m. and book a place. Then if you like, you can play cards, darts, bowls, read the paper, watch TV, knitting, sewing, learn to use computer or various other activities. “Don’t delay, do it today’’
